Well... the weather here has been rather cool for October! Our first frost advisory was issued for last night, and a chance of snow appeared in the forecast TWICE (and was also removed twice) for this past weekend, but the fact that it was cool enough for it to be in the forecast in the first place is my point here! I'm hoping it ends up being a COLD winter, with lots of SNOW, and not as much ICE as the past few cold seasons! The NoVA Jeepers Fall Foliage Ride is this coming weekend! Despite the cool weather, I'm looking forward to a day in George Washington National Forest! Over forty people have signed up for the ride, and will be split into three different groups. Two of the groups will head to Flagpole Knob, using two different points of entry, and exiting the way that they didn't enter. The third group will do Second Mountain, and possibly Dictum if they're up for the challenge. It's been about two months since I've been off-road, and I'm ready for it! Not much else going on... still playing around with Google Sites, as you can see... I wish it had a little more flexibility! There are some things I'd love to put in that right sidebar that it won't (easily) let me do. I'm looking into some workarounds though... |
